Chris Fite, Sous Chef at Café NOMA, has had a dynamic career in the culinary world. His journey with Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group began eight years ago when he joined Café NOMA. With more than 20 years of experience in various prestigious restaurants, Chris' passion and enthusiasm for cooking is what drives him every day. The most rewarding aspect of the job is seeing people enjoy his food.
Prior to joining the Café NOMA team, Chris honed his skills with Location Gourmet, a company specializing in movie set catering. This role exposed him to a wide range of cuisines, and he particularly enjoyed the creativity involved in designing menus from cuisines all over the world. His previous experience also includes five years at Stella! Restaurant and time at Muriel's, both renowned restaurants that further refined his culinary skills.
Originally from Mississippi, Chris is the oldest of four siblings. At home, he enjoys preparing Latin, Southeast Asian, and Italian dishes. Chris credits his mother for instilling in him a love for Northern Italian cuisine, with red sauce, cheese, and pasta being his ultimate comfort food.
Outside the kitchen, Chris is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys running, kayaking, hiking, and camping.
